Founder and CEO, Randal O. Dull, MD PhD, is a clinician-scientist and health care leader with over 20 years of clinical experience and 30 years of research experience. Dr. Dull is an internationally recognized anesthesiologist related to his research on the cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology. He has worked at the intersection of molecular medicine, clinical medicine and device development for 30 years. In addition to his clinical practice, he worked in the Office of Technology Management at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (Chicago) handling life science disclosures. He is experienced in assessing the science and commercialization potential of early stage start-ups. Dr Dull has been a Key Opinion Leader for major pharmaceutical companies and has been a consultant and speaker for a major medical device manufacturer. 

 

He is a currently a tenured Full-professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson AZ.  He has held 2 Endowed Chairs in Anesthesiology, was a Senior Editor for the International Anesthesia Research Society’s journal Anesthesia & Analgesia and served as Editor Contributing Editor and author for 3 best-selling anesthesia text books. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and approximately 40 book chapters. He continues to practice clinical anesthesia with specific expertise in anesthesia for thoracic anesthesia and complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery.
